Hi there littledog. Welcome to the forum. Always nice to have new overseas members on here. Your horse sounds lovely, what a gorgeous cross!

Hello Jude, ChestnutGold and littledog! I think you should be warned that this forum and the pony books themselves are highly addictive. I started with buying 'Jill's Gymkhana' from ebay many years ago and I probably have 300 books now- and am always on the hunt for more!

Hello, I've just joined the forum. As you've probably guessed from my user name, I'm a Monica Edwards fan and also like many other authors writing around this period. I'm not a fan of the modern pony book, BUT I recently read "There Must Be Horses" by Diana Kimpton and loved it!
I'm going to confess something now! I've been reading these posts from time to time over the years and I'm joining now because I'm hoping to take part in the "Tall & Proud" reading circle! Very cheeky of me, but I hope that's ok?

Hi Tamzin and welcome! I know you had some problems with nasty pop up ads when you were trying to register so I'm glad you stuck with it and joined us. We have quite a few Monica Edwards fans on here, including me. We've just been discussing Spirit of Punchbowl Farm in the review section which you might want to join in.
I also really enjoyed Diana Kimpton's book, once again there's a review of it on here you may want to comment on or vote.
If you'd like to join in with the Tall and Proud reading circle please post on the reading circle thread and we'll try and arrange for a book to get to you. You may have to wait a little while as there are just a few copies doing the rounds but we will get to you!

Not cheeky at all, I don't think! Discussion is what the reading circle is all about, and the more the merrier!

Hi Everyone, I'm Brumby from Australia. this is my first post and first forum so am clueless. Sadly no pony but living my dreams through pony books, great to make contact with you all! Should mention the family, 3 dogs and 4 cats, keeps me out of trouble.

Hi Brumby and welcome to the forum. Don't worry I'm sure you'll pick it up very quickly and if you have any questions just ask - someone will help you. I'm sure we'd all love to hear about your dogs and cats some time as most of us are cat and dog lovers as well as horse-lovers.

Claire, just wondering am I too late to join the summer reading challenge? I don't want to put you to any trouble but it sounds like fun.

I love pony books, but also all sorts of others including 'forgotten classic' children's books. Even when I can't read, I enjoy listening to others discuss them and discovering new titles for my 'to read' list (that is growing ever longer and longer).

Hi Allyk and welcome to the forum! Yes, most of us love a wide range of children's books on here too, as well as pony books. Haha your 'to read' list will soon achieve monumental proportions if you stick around here - mine certainly has!

Hello, I'm a newbie, delighted to find a forum of like-minded people who love pony books. I'm 40-mumble and still enjoy revisiting the worlds of Jill, Jinny, Noel & Henry and the like.
