Hi Claire I've got B L Kearley - Riding Made Easy. Sould I email it to you or stick the picture on this thread? I have to say this book is a right giggle, some wonderfully funny pictures of huge baggy jods and a bit where the master of the house removes his leather riding boots by sticking his boot on his wifes bottom and she tugs it off...the boot I mean Ahem... sorry going off topic already!

Thanks Rosie email it or put on here, either is fine - whichever is easier for you. The book sounds a hoot. I've always wondered why they made jods so huge and baggy. I know there was prob no stretchy material in those days but I think they went overboard in making them so enormous!

I ahve Joey, pony Of gold, the nina somebody pit pony (think it has a wrapper not 100% sure actually thinking about it) and the Susan chitty. I'm useless with remembering about pics, not got camera at min as OH's parents borrowed it...unless it's in his van and he forget to bring it in of course...will try and remember to do some scans instead but I need reminding! Not got time now as scanning takes forever

Thanks haffy, only if you have time! BTW If you change the resolution to to under 100 on the scanner it wont take as long and its good enough quality for websites. Also I do 2 books at once!

Are they okay here or do you want the jpegs emailing? Sorry too lazy to split them too Apparantly Avril knott was only 15 when she wrote Pony Of Gold...it's pretty good too, I seem to remember enjoying it on the whole! The wrapper would be divine if the rider wasn't so flippin ham fisted!

I like the look of Pit Pony by Nina Banning. I think I'd enjoy reading that.

Thanks for those pics haffy they are great! Just thinking the exact same thing about the dj on Pony of Gold, looks like she's doing that old 60s dance, I think it was called the 'mashed potato' Love the jacket of Joey and the Magic Pony too.
