I've just noticed there is a horsey programme on BBC4 on Thursday night at 9.00pm called Storyville about racehorses. It follows three horses over a year in Ireland. Could be interesting

Is that the documentary entitled "Horses"? I went to see it in the cinema recently, coincidentally on a day when one of the featured horses (Joncol) won a big race in Ireland. I really enjoyed it, full of warmth and humour and the personalities of the horses really came across well.

Yes Joncol was a lovely big lad wasn't he? I liked all three of the horses, Ardalan the little un was very pretty and good tempered, and the nutty one with the Irish name brought back memories as I always seemed to end up with the loony horses myself ;D Must admit I thought the trainer was OK too

Yes I have to agree Claire and exmoorfan, the trainer is rather nice ;D I'd love a ride on Joncol. Can you imagine zooming along on him?
