If so has it got any pony content in it? I have never read it as it looks like it may be a bit bloodthirsty, but I would like to know what its like and whether its worth a read.

Although Monica was not very 'into' dogs, she obviously was interested in working dogs - her interest in the Guide Dogs in Wind is Blowing, and in this one in tracking, when they bring in a German Shepherd dog to track the 'killer' collie. I liked the book a lot!

Rescuing one animal does not change the world, but the world surely changes for that one animal.

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring- it was peace ~
