Sooo.... who loves the new christmas number one?! Na just wondering what everyone is feeling about it, personally I think its great what we could do to annoy xfactor and how we actually achieved it (yes I admit I bought the song...) Anyone else got any views on this?

;D I'm wondering just who really came up with the idea -seeing as how the rights to both songs are owned by Sony (and hence by Cowell whose company is part of Sony). Massive sales on both of them - hmmmm, methinks Cowell will be laughing all the way to the bank on this one!!

Haha yeah I heard that too, didnt really do their reserch did they?! But I still think its an amazing achievement! Not the greatest song ever though... but then again neither was Joes, a Hannah Montanna cover!? Seriously?!

What we really need is a new Christmas song - i am seriously fed up with the old ones and no one seems to do 'proper' christmas songs any more. The one they are all touting as a new Christmas song at the moment, (that Mumford and Sons one) I hate as I think it sounds like a depressing dirge - the lyrics seem fixated on death! Everyone else is raving about it though!

Since it all went into cowell's pockets I didn't see any point in the exercise.
I preffered Olly and it was a crap song but I am a bit sorry for Joe, he seemed a very nice kid.

Yeah we do need new ones! Getting a bit bored of the old ones tbh... always on the music channel! Hmm.. I think the point was to stop the latest xfactor winner getting the number one, but true, Cowel is happy either way. But then I have nothing against him tbh... x

I thought both songs were pants! Personally I would favour a facebook campaign to get rid of Simon Cowell, he gets right up my nose
