Hi all, has anyone got a copy of any of the following Hilda Boden books:
PONY BOY
JOANNA RIDES TO THE HILLS
FOXES IN THE VALLEY
If you have I would be grateful for a short synopsis of the stories/blurb of a dustjacket, etc. Can't remember what happens in the first 2 as I read them and sold them on. The last I am a bit unsure if its a pony book at all as have never read. Thanks in advance!

PONY BOY Colin found his pony on the Welsh mountains near Chapel Farm, trapped by the first snow of winter. He was black and beautiful, and Colin called him Merlyn, which means little horse. Nobody knew how to train a pony properly, so Colin got a book on "The Schooling of Horses" out of the library. He earned his tack by cleaning leatrher for Mr Tommy Davis Smith. Most important of all he met Lucy, who really knew about ponies, and she helped him to win the Best Pony class on Merlyn at the summer show. Lucy wanted a pony like Merlyn for herself though - and that was the beginning of an adventure.....
FOXES IN THE VALLEY 16 year old Nest John was looking forward to a quiet summer, keeping house for her grandfather and her older brother Gerwyn, and caring for her bantoms which she hoped would win a prize at the agricultural show. But this seemingly tranquil situation was disturbed by foxes raiding the neighbouring farms, and when Nest's prize bantoms are destroyed her grandfather decides that he too must help the local farmers. Their efforts lead the John family right into the middle of a puzzle that has been mystifying the locals for years, and when the mystery is solved the valley is rid of more than foxes....
Also set in Wales and clearly not a pony book but mine has hunt on cover so it's an easy mistake...I bought it assuming it to be about hunting!

Thanks very much for those. Yes, thought the Foxes one was a horsy one as horses on cover also someone selling it on abebooks had said it was a horse one. I'll not bother buying that one then!
