Well hopefully my animals are now safe as I've had 3 misfortunes in the last 2 weeks The vets accountant will love me A couple of weeks ago Bella cut her lip it was about2 inches long and a couple of cm deep with a big flap that the vet had to cut off. Then Sky escaped into the horses field and got kicked (by Bella she's the only one wearing shoes) and was hopping lame. They are both better now but yesterday Diesel (my jack russell) decided to pick a fight with my german shepperd (again! I keep them apart after last time but it was a chance meeting) and Rosie just grabbed Diesel and shook her - she really mean't business So I had rush her to the vets with 2 deep puncture wounds, luckily nothing important is damaged so she had pain killers and antibiotics and is now resting. Phew hopefully that's it but on the plus side I've started riding Bella (now her lip has healed)and she seems lovely ;D ;D ;D

Oh dear! I hope things get better for you, but with animals it seems were always at the vet for something or the other! They are worth it though x

Must be something in the air - I seem to be Xraying everything in sight at the moment! What a nice level field to ride in, Zoe I am sending my Welshie up there for you to ride on for me!! I have to say that the very word Jack Russell strikes terror into my heart when I am out with my dogs! A combination of their terrier attitude and the fact that most of the ones I meet appear to belong to people who treat them as spoilt lapdogs, means the little dears target a bigger dog like an out of control Exocet missile! I usually run in the other direction, well hobble fast! I've noticed too that even with the well brought up ones, there really does seem to be a clash of personalities between them and Shepherds at the best of times. I rescued some JR pups, and took my time finding homes for them, eventually I finished up with just one little bitch that I was getting very fond of, and I was thinking of not looking too hard for a home for her. At barely three months old, she attempted to marmalise one of my dogs when she was just walking past,by launching herself off my lap and onto her ear, and she meant it! Both my poor bitch and I were somewhat stunned, but I recovered first and detached the pup shaped earring, and tried to convince the old girl it was an accident! Talk about the shape of things to come! She eventually went to live with another JR! ;D

Altho I rarely dislike an animal I have to say one of the few I really have not liked was my Uncle's Jack Russell which was the nastiest little so and so I have ever met. It went for everyone who came near it - man or beast. And it never stopped yapping either.
Hope the animals ae getting better zoe. Nice pic too!

I think jack russels have a bit of a complex being so small. Diesel is lovely with people (even small kids hassling) she tolerates boy dogs but will try and fight all girl dogs, it's a pain as I have never been able to take her anywhere there might be other dogs.
Kunuma I am lucky having a flat field but have a better idea - I'll post you my daughter, she will ride welshie and can also poo pick and wash up and make a cup of tea haha Why are yours getting x rays? hope all well.
