Are we talking a fan of the music or which ones we fancied? Anyway I was too young to fancy anyone in those days Altho sadly I can remember them

;D I'm with Rosie here! I too was a little young to fancy anyone at that time, so I find it hard to separate the music and the man....the "Partridge Family"* music was much the better in my opinion, and certainly holds up over the years far better than any of Osmand's work. (grin...if my parent's had ever listened to any of the P Family lyrics, they certainly wouldn't have bought me any of the albums!) *the quotes and asterik are just to note that of course the Partridge Family never existed as such....it was Cassidy backed by a studio musician group that called itself, informally, the Wrecking Crew...they recorded with just about every group in existance at the time: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wrecking_Crew_(music)edited to note, I loved both the Beatles and the Monkeys as well, but it seemed a cop-out to pick one of the "cooler" options instead of admiting to the embarassing one!

Oh eck, think I'd better get the zimmer frame out I'm going to really embarrass myself now by saying that I couldn't have understood half the lyrics of any songs that I listened to as a child. When I listen to them now I realise just how downright rude some of them were ;D

Umm I just voted I was too young (wahey!) but I think I pressed the wrong button and voted for the monkeys instead duh The first singer I fancied as a kid was david bowie after seeing him in the labyrinth film and I've got to admit seeing him in those tights still does it for me! ;D ;D I'm going to be singing "hey hey we're the monkeys" all day now!

I remember watching repeats of The Monkies TV show in the school holidays...that and Silas....that was in the days before Pugwall.
And Kunuma, I only said my Mum liked Donnie Osmond, does it make it better if i say she was a younger mum (but not by todays standards I might add!).

Haha lol at haffy frantically trying to dig herself out of a hole ;D
Zoe it was me who voted for the Monkees as I didnt like the music of Donny O or David C but did like the Beatles and Monkees. But as a kid I prob liked the monkees best as I used to watch that aforementioned TV show.

I must of pressed the right button then - I did't notice the monkeys vote before I'd voted. I had guitar lessons as a kid and mainly learnt beatles songs though I've prob forgot how to play them now
