It's a wonderful film, though a bit brutal in places. I'm not sure what's the most gorgeous thing about the film - the little paint horse, the Arabs, or Viggo. I LOVE that man. He rides, he owns horses (including one of the paints from the film) he wrote a book about them... Ahem. Watch it if you can.

Well snowfilly and I will be duelling handbags at dawn - as I want him too! I fell for him in Lord of the Rings - (although a certain blond elf was distracting too!!) Then I read about how he truly loved horses and did indeed buy Hidalgo (PJ) - here's a link to the story about it! www.countingdown.com/features?feature_id=3391621

OK, I have a handbag and I'm prepared to use it ;D ;D Although I'm happy to have him during the week, and you can have him weekends, cos my OH is home from college then . I'm not too proud to share. I fell for him in LOTR as well - all my schoolbooks from then are covered with either his pictures or his / mine initials. Oh the things that seem sensible when you're 16 ;D

Well seeing as how I am having him for the weekends ;D - I did some more research. He actually has bought horses from more than one film, he bought the horses he rode in LOTR too! www.moviehorsesnz.com/horses.htmuk.movies.ign.com/articles/496/496544p1.htmlGo to second page of this for the photo of Hidalgo and his double - but the article is good too, about him buying the horses! Plus apparently he has done a photographic horse book called The Horse is Good. Is he possibly the only intelligent, gorgeous, sensitive, caring horseloving guy out there?? Snowfilly, we may have to share him around a bit!
