I think the author was Denise Hill, I've only read Pony for Two and it's sequel, Cocoa the Gift Horse. Can anyone tell me any more about the author or if she wrote any more books?

I think these are the only pony ones but she may have written other children's book or someone with same name did.

She also wrote a pony one called The Castle Grey Pony published by Antelope Books in 1976. This is quite rare. I haven't read it so don't know whether it is a belated sequel to the jane and jeremy series in A Pony For Two & Coco or a completely different story. I am trying to find out. Haffyfan is right she also wrote some non-pony childrens ones too. Unfortunately I don't have any more info about the author.

According to the British Library, the only books she wrote are:-
A Pony For Two The Birthday Surprise The Castle Grey Pony The Clever Car Counterplot in Riot City The Enemy Sea The Golden Bicycle The Helicopter Children Matthew's Mog No Friends for Simon The October Animal The Secret Sign William and the Mutt The Witch at Lundy Cottage The Wrong Side of the Bed
From looking about online, those 3 are the only ones I can find out about that are pony related. The Enemy Sea is a sailing book, The Golden Bicycle is about an enchanted bicycle; I cant find any information about what the others are about.
Antelope Books are generally not the easiest to find: Christine P-T's Little Black Pony is one, and that is one of her harder to find book (if not the hardest).

Found out about Castle Grey Ponies, its NOT a sequel to the other two unfortunately as I like those characters. Its about 3 children who get involved with some miniature ponies from a visiting circus.
