Hi All
Sorry to start a new thread, but I do need some help.
When I was younger I read a book about a girl who didnt have a pony but she started riding at a riding school and then got a pony on loan.
The front of the book was of a girl on a chestnut pony. The pony was quite fluffy and had a trace clip.
I have no idea what this book was. It was in paperback. I know it took a while but then a second one came out.
I am wondering if it is the Holywell seriers as that rings a bell but the front covers on all the ones Ihave seen on ebay are very modern and although the one I am talking about was a photo it wasnt as modern as these.
I cant remember how old I would have been maybe about 12 so that is about 20 years ago so 1980s.
Can anyone help. Seeing as I am trying to rekindle my childhood would love this book for my collection.
Thanks in advance
Ali xx

Hi I have the Heronsway book there are two of them 1. Pony Quest and 2. Rescue Team I'll have to take a photo off my copys as thay may be the ones you remember as the cover is a photo of a girl on a flffy chestnut, and the second is the same girl and pony and a friend on a dark brown.

Happy, altho she didnt write any more in this series, she DID write a few more books but under the name of Wendy Douthwaite, which is she is much better known as. There was the Polly series and a few stand alone books too. The titles are all on my website at: wendydouthwaite.ponymadbooklovers.co.uk/
