Just thought I'd share with everyone the lovely place I visited today. It was an animal rescue centre not far from where I live and was a real Follyfoot Farm. Went there cos there was a car boot sale on but spent ages wandering around looking at the animals. It was really my sort of place with chickens, cats and other creatures just wandering around all over doing their own thing. There were loads of donkeys, including a donkey stally called Oswald (see Pic) and a 2 week old donkey foal, also horses, ponies, a few foals. There were a lot of cats about, dogs and a litter of adorable 5 week old puppies! Felt like taking the lot home with me. I only recently found out this place existed. Going back in a couple of weeks time with some cat food and stuff and to see the animals again. They also sell horses and ponies. Had a lovely chestnut for sale and they do livery and have an indoor school and a cross country course. Oh dear feel like raiding my house buying fund.... Heres a link to their website: www.ramshawrescue.co.uk/index.html

I agree it does sound like a nice place.
Just one thing - have you checked what they feed (cat food wise)? Just that some centres may not have a need for any other brand than what they feed to the residents. It would be a shame if you went to the effort of buying something that they couldnt use.

Good point Garej. I will check up first. The cats were all in excellent condition and very friendly. They are doing a good job.
