Just wondered if anyone could confirm whether Pat leitch wrote any more books under the pseudonym Jane Eliot? I am aware of
Afraid To Ride Jacky Jumps To The Top First Pony all re printed under Patricia Leitch as collins pony libs
and also
Pony Club Camp
which I cannot find a trace of having been reprinted, unless of course the name was changed. As I have not read it I cannot confirm as yet but as I am typing Riding course summer sprung into my head, my other unread Pat Leitch, so i will go check.

I have been meaning to do some more research on the subject of Jane Eliot for a while but as usual not got round to it! As far as I know there are only the 4 books you mentioned. I did have them all at one time and they were all in the same format of very small paperbacks. Its ages since I read Pony Club Camp and now unfortunately don't have the book any longer (wish I had kept it as its got quite rare ) I have forgotten the plot but it is not the same story as Riding Course Summer which was published earlier anyway. I think I've read everything else by Pat Leitch so I dont think it has ever been re-issued under that name. Have actually just been updating the Patricia Leitch section on the website and this has jogged my memory I left Pony Club Camp out! Do you actually have a copy of Pony Club Camp (or does anyone?) as if you do I would love to know the resume of the plot for my records until I get my grubby hands on another copy! As I can't answer the question 100% however I will maybe put it on the Q and A section of the website directing anyone to the forum if they know for sure. Also I would like to know if anyone knows why these books were published under a different name as I havent been able to find any info in the past about this!

Thanks Claire. Yes I do have it but haven't read it yet. I have also been trying to find out about her, I even blogged about it, but so far have pretty much drawn a blank apart from what snippets are in the back/front of some of her books.
I will email the blurb from Pony Club Camp.
