Goodness knows how looking at those weird optical pics made me think of this, but there used to be a picture of two white horses in a waterfall, I think it was called Blue Waterfall, that was on sale everywhere. I loved it although I think it was supposed to be the ultimate in naff, but then I always loved lava lamps too. Now I can't find it - I'd love a poster, small pic - whatever, but it seems to be extinct. Anyone seen a copy around?

Now I know you are all waiting with bated breath (not!) for me to find my mystery picture! The latest update is that I now know who it is by, and still can't find it! ???I can't even find anything on the artist, someone called A Palmero. Is he from America or Australia perhaps!!

I have been following your quest with interest kunuma! Is this the picture? It by someone called Alfredo Palmero, a Spanish artist. There are a couple of sites about him on the net but they don't yield much of interest. He did paint a few horse pics but also some quite hideous ones as well! I think this one is also by him:

What beautful pictures, if they are the ones I can see why you want them.

Claire, you are a genius - where did you find those pictures?? Can you give me a link to any websites you found - as the plot thickens! Although not the exact picture I am searching for, these two are so similiar that they almost look like part of a set, now I want them too!! They were obviously painted by the same chap, BUT there seem to be 2 Palmeros!! One is Afredo Palmero, and I can only find weird ones by him, the other is only down as A. Palmero, and he or she is American - I think that might be him, but that is as far as I can find, and I can't find any pictures of his painting except I have found a written reference to something called Horses in the Night, but no picture.

Hi kunuma, I also found 2 artists. However the website I am giving you a link to said they were by the Spanish Palmero, she could be wrong tho. Here is the link: www.loveonalead.co.uk/gallery/image.asp?ImId=52&Gallery=HorsesWhat complicates the matter is that both the Palmeros did horse pics but I cant see any actual pics the american one did, just the names. Maybe you could contact the person on the above website and ask?

Hello,
I know itβs a long shot as it was a few years ago but I have a framed print of The Blue Waterfall with the beautiful ponies in and wondered if this member was still looking for it? Hopefully I can help.

Hi Carla, thanks for getting in touch. I have contact details for the member who was looking for it so I can see if she is still interested. If not I'd probably be interested myself!
