I'm trying very hard not to log in as I can't resist bidding!!
Bit naffed off as i bought a copy of Riding for ridge Abby and post has ate it...how long do you have to file a dispute with paypal? Seller says they are looking into it but can't put a claim in yet but it has been over 3 weeks now...I am wondering if they are stringing me along to get past the complaints date possibly?

Sarah, I do that too.!!
haffyfan ,That is very bad luck. It's rare for post to go missing unless you have some rogue postie's..! The only one of mine I didn't receive was definately an ebayer not sending possibly because they sold too cheaply. ..I don't think you have to wait 3 weeks with Royal Mail to claim .Do you remember when they had a strike and some post was delayed ..? You have 45 days to put in a claim with paypal...

It's rare for post to go missing Surely you jest! I have had loads of stuff go missing both as a buyer and a seller. At the mo in the middle of a dispute about a missing book I sent which came back to me with damaged packaging and also 2 parcels which were posted a while back to me and havent turned up. Just this minute spent 15 mins on hold at the local depot waiting to see if they could find one of my parcels and then got cut off! So I am possibly not in the warmest of moods regarding our dearly beloved Royal mail service! You have to wait 15 working days before you can claim with P.O. for a missing item so if you add on the weekends this is knocking on to 3 weeks. The thing is the post office can take 3-4 weeks to answer the claim so if the seller have already refunded the buyer then the post office wont give them their money they are basically screwed! probably the reason a lot of sellers dont refund straight away, even tho they are required by law to do it in within 30 days (but impossible to enforce really) The whole missing parcel thing is hopelessly dealt with by ebay, paypal and the royal mail. But thats life for you

BTW anyone who forgets to bidon stuff set your mobile alarm to go off 10 mins before the bid. Its the only way I can remember them myself!

Thanks Guys...maybe she read this as had a message from her today!!! This is my first missing thing too as buyer/seller although just after strikes ahd a couple of items that took two weeks to arrive at their new homes and one was a rug! Would have been difficult to loose a package that big I'd have thought.
