As you may know I love the show Keeping Up Appearances. I love seeing what other stuff the actors have been in. I was looking at imdb to see what Tales of the Unexpected episodes both Patricia Routledge and Clive Swift have been in. I noticed that Patricia Routledge had been in a episode called The Verger. Guess who wrote it? Only Denis Cannan brother to the PTs.
So it seems both my favourite TV show and collections are intrinsically linked.

Yes I have. Frank Mills who played Fowler in the Flambards series was in later series of Hetty Wainthropp Investigates. It's currently being shown in the UK.
I also have her album on vinyl too. I have written to the surviving cast members of Keeping Up Appearances but apart from Clive Swift I have yet to receive a response.

That's interesting that it was written by Denis Cannan, Garej. I love Patricia Routledge too and enjoyed Keeping up Appearances and Hetty Wainthrop. She's also good in the Alan Bennet Talking Heads show.

Oh yes, the talking head is marvellous - if I recall it is quite an unpleasant character... the dark side of Hyacincth maybe. Clive Swift was wonderful in the BBC adaptation The Barchester Chronicles as another put upon husband, Bishop Proudie. It has a wonderful cast including a young Alan Rickman, Donald Pleasance and Nigel Hawthorne.

Just a note that I had a signed photo from Patricia Routledge. Still waiting for Judy Cornwell and Josephine Tewson to reply. As well as a bunch of other celebrities.
