Does anyone here like adult colouring books? I do though I have yet to complete one yet. I have just received The Mindfulness Colouring book today.
Do you prefer pens or pencils?

Actually a friend gave me some for a birthday gift and I thought she had lost the plot! However when i gave it a go I quite enjoyed it. My crayons were not good enough quality though so I tried paint and it certainly looked better but then I really needed smaller brushes and my patience wasn't really good enough, plus the dogs never let me sit still that long! But I think they are quite fun!

Love adult coloring! I like to use good quality colored pencils and also a type of pencil called a watercolor pencil -- if you wet the tip of the pencil OR color first and then carefully wet the paper, it becomes watercolor paint. Tried colored ink and that's not for me. Have NOT tried any actual crayons -- I think those would not be a "fine" enough point for me to enjoy using them.

I shall have to look up; these watercolour crayons, they sound like a good idea - you are quite right about the fine point, I found neither crayons or the brushes I had were nearly fine pointed enough. I've got a couple of books which are flowers and gardens, but one that is horses!

I've now got a little set of those watercolour crayons, looking them up there seems to be two ways of using them, wetting the crayon or using the crayon dry and then painting over it with water. When the dogs finally let me sit down I'm going to have a play with them.

I've seen them around. Not seen a horse one tho! My Auntie is into them. I think my Mum would like to try them too. I think it's a good idea, at least it's taking people away from their phones and social media and encouraging them to do something 'real'

LOL I'd obviously been talking so much about them that I got given a cottage one myself - I'm finding that it is a bit depressing because I want to live in one of them once I've coloured them!! I also got a scraper pic of a unicorn!
