Sharon's books were quite enjoyable though very much for the modern reader -- quick and short reads. But her works had a strong sense of place and decent characterizations, and I made sure to collect complete series. I was hoping there would be at least one more Wild Horse Creek book but obviously that won't happen now.
I read the Wild Horse Creek series and the Saddle Island trilogy though Mustang Mountain was probably her most popular horse series.

RIP Sharon.
She was a very good writer. I really liked the Saddle Island books, they managed to be modern whilst capturing the feel of a traditional pony story - no mean feat! Also as Rally says they had a very strong and evocative sense of place. I'd highly recommend them.

RIP from me as well.....I really enjoyed the Saddle Island books...I kept very few from the Pony Club series after I'd read them, but those are among the handful!
