RIP Terry so sad to see him go but he has brought a huge amount of pleasure and fun into so many people's lives. The Witches and the Death series have kept me amused for many an hour. And Binky is one of my favourite characters. I must re-read some of his books in his honour.

I was just thinking the same thing....think I'm going to go for a re-read of Wee Free Men when I've finished mystery I'm in the middle of.
I've remembered, too, that he created my favorite magical object.....a child might go for Harry Potter's wand or invisibility cloak, but as an adult, it's the Luggage, baby!

We've been having a discussion of him on Facebook. I forgot to mention Greebo, one of the best feline characters in literature and when he is turned into a man by magic....wow! I've been doing some googling and I found out there's a lego version of Death and Binky. Am tempted to buy it!

On a less frivolous note it says in his obituary he died "with his cat sleeping on his bed, surrounded by his family” which brought a tear to my eye.
