It had a picture of, predictably, a horse and a girl on the front, purple border.
The theme was this girl moved to this new stables, where everything was bigger/better quality and had some kind of adventure getting to know the new ways of doing things.
Not much to go on, I know, but may ring a bell with someone...!
Probably 80s, but could be a decade either way!
TIA

Thinking caps on everyone! Not an easy one to narrow down as that is not exactly an unused theme for pony stories! Tho it does sound fialry modernish. Can you narrow down to UK or USA? (I assume not Aussie) And was the edition with the purple border a hardback or paperback - if you can recall?

And paperback.
Must be the first in the series as she's new at this stable. Doesn't have her own horse.
She did like the new yard. Was in awe of the newer facilities, I remember her commenting that her old stables had to make do without stuff/space this new one had.

Was it possibly the first Heronsway book? I assume this started life as going to be a series but only 2 were ever published that i am aware of. I loved them growing up.
