RIP Mickey Rooney.
He was a great actor and in so many films of my youth. Surprised to see he was 'only' 93 I thought he was at least 100 lol.

Another horse film was Thoroughbreds Don't Cry, in which he played a jockey...costars were Judy Garland and Ronald Sinclair. www.imdb.com/title/tt0029664/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1My favorites of his will probably always be the Busby Berkley pictures...the "hey, kids, lets put on a show" movies, which featured some of America's best music....the Gershwins, Cole Porter, etc.
