I have been trying for years to find out the title of this book I read and loved as a child but to no avail. For some reason I've never posted on here about it so I may as well give it a go. Unfortunately I can remember very little about it, just that I loved it. It would have been published in the 1970s, tho possibly reprinted from earlier. As far as I can recall it was a picture book or had a lot of colour pictures. The annoying thing is I can't remember ANYTHING about the story at all except that it was an adventure story and there was an eagle and an eagle's eyrie in it. That particularly struck me at the time as I'd never heard of the word eyrie before and it took my fancy a bit (I was pretty young). I'm pretty sure it was set in mountainous terrain too. Help! If this vague description rings a bell with anyone please let me know.
