On slightly different lines than usual - ranting before I buy! Trying to buy an animal related product on ebay, I always type in only source from the UK - don't want to finish up buying from China - well I was looking at various products and noticed the same slightly odd grammar and spelling mistakes - the products are delivered from the UK, but the seller is in China!! Ebay that is NOT buying items only from the UK!! - Seems there is a loophole for sellers there!
So I started again with a different seller - hmmm, strange, appears to have been to the same school as the first one, finally I realised that the same seller, from abroad, can obviously use loads of different names and if the items are delivered from a warehouse in this country, then it comes up as being sold from the UK!
Was so annoyed I gave up on ebay and now I'm searching through Amazon - but I'm taking note of the seller names and way of writing about the items just in case they are hovering around over there too!

I agree ebay is dreadfully clogged up with Chinese sellers and sellers breaking all sorts of rules. Sadly ebay is making so much money from them its never going to weed them out.
The only thing I can suggest is when you do an advanced search click on the 'private sellers' option as this will weed out of those dodgy Chinese sellers which have to register as businesses. Of course it cuts down a lot of potential sellers and depending on what you are after may not be feasible.
