Claire mentioned in her review of Black Loch that Kay mentions her friend from the ridng school Jacky Munro (Of Jump To the Top Fame) - whilst reading heroines on horseback i picked up on another familiar Pat Leitch character name, although i'd never put two and two together previously. Maybe because i've only read their 'own' story once (and not enjoyed it) whereas the name was familiar in the setting of Jump To the Top.
"Thats jane Dallas" (A pony to Save) gasped Jacky as a girl on a dappled grey cantered round before she started jumping. " She is just about the top junior show jumper in Britain!"
Anyhow it got me wondering about how many other characters from various books pop up elsewhere in Pat Leitch's stories and indeed with other authors. I'm sure there must be more, KM Peyton is a big fan of doing this of course.

There's a [open bracket]a[close bracket] between 'Dallas' and 'gasped'
if you click edit and delete that, everything should be fine.

Thanks - didn't even notice the book title hadn't showed, let alone what had happened!

Good idea for a thread haffy!
Hmm will have to think about Pat Leitch books, I missed the Jane Dallas reference too. A couple of others I can think of: In the Samantha Alexander Riders series Blake the show jumper from the Holywell stables series appears in one of the stories. Also David Smith from The First Rosette, etc appears in The Lost Pony, first on TV then in person. And yes there's loads in KMP's Ruth, Peter and Jonathan books.
