I wasn't sure where to raise this question so I'm starting a new thread. I'm thinking of buying this for my daughter to read, after seeing comments that it's aimed at a younger age group. Can anyone who's read it (and can remember) tell me whether or not it has any swearing and blasphemy in it please? Thanks.

I haven't read it, but it looks like one of those designed to not offend anyone, so I think you're safe. A quick search reveals not even a single 'gosh' or 'golly' If you want a pdf so you can read it yourself, let me know.

I would say its aimed at the 8-13 age group, although older children will read it without thinking it babyish. I've read it and I can't recall any swearing - I can have a quick skim thru and check if you like. I've done a review of it in the reviews section too if you want to know more about it.

Yes Claire's right no swearing. Iv just read it and enjoyed it there are two view points a boy I liked him better and a girl she was ok but she got a bit to court up in winning so she wasn't a very sympathetic little girl. Over all a good read.

Would adding a 'parental cautions' section to reviews be worthwhile?
Oftentimes it can be hard to tell just what all might be in a book from regular reviews.

I must admit the odd time I have been a little shocked to read the odd swear word in modern kids books. I'll mention this in future on reviews. I'm glad you enjoyed your prize Trixiepony

Don't think I've seen many swear words in pony books! Love some of the old ones that come up in the old books though, along the oh my golly gosh sort of line!! Too Many Ponies is def suitable for children, just tell them not to copy the heroine's riding style!
