Just wondered if anyone else has spotted the 'signed' copy of Silver Snaffles on ebay?
Authentic or not? what does everyone think? Anyone ever seen anything she's signed at all?
Will it sell?
Anyhow back to work now, just caught my interest!

"Yes, signed by the author herself as far as I am able to establish" - hmmm - wonder what they have done to 'establish' the signature.
ohhh - just saw this "*The signature matches the signature of Primrose Cumming which I found on a pony-book lovers site and forum hosted by a reputable book seller. Please message me for details." - who, who?
Might have to email now or has anyone else done so?

Jane Badger says she is the 2nd book dealer mentioned (ie the one with a authentic signed book)
***wonder who made her an offer? And how much!***

I saw it was it on sale for £250? i dont think it had dustjacket. In my experience signatures usually double to treble a value of book, so can't see it selling for that price. But then again it is a highly collectable item and author.

I saw it.
As Claire says, it doesnt have it's dj.
On abebooks, the highest price is £95, and that is with a poor dj. I personally think the book is worth £150.
The better thing would be to have shoved it with a reserve (as it is worth more than £50, you can do that), and if the seller really wanted £250, set it at that. Then whatever the highest bid was, would have been the true value and she should relist at that price.
