I've just been to see War Horse at the theatre and it was amazing!!! I can really recommend it, everyone kept telling me how good it is and they were right You really do forget they are puppets and I'm afraid the tissues came out!

It's at the New London Theatre. I think the film is out in January 2012? Can't wait to see it

It is a great show - well worth going to see if you are in or near London.
Looking forward to the film as well.

I just saw a behind-the-scenes doco of this on tele - the puppets are awesome, so incredibly horselike ;D I might wait and get the movie on dvd so I can fastforward through the inevitable hard to watch bits - apparently 8 million horses died in WW1
