I love this forum first books then fit men, now food fantastic thread have given you a karma exmoorfan.
With food it depends on what mood I am in. If I am engrossed in a good book like nothing more than a tube of pringles and a litre of coke.
At this time of year it Roasts every time or home cooked comfort food beef stew etc

OMG where do you start with food? Usually would say chocolate but must admit a bit sick of it after christmas. I would say my fav food of all time is cheese, love it, love cheese and onion sandwiches. They always remind me of when I was a child if we went out for the day I would always get my Mum to make them and they would stink the car out! ;D Ah what memories... I also love crisps. I am a another Pringles fanatic and also just discovered i absolutely love doritos chilli heatwave flavour.
My fav type of food is prob a toss up between Italian and tex-mex. I love pasta and I adore fajitas. I like anything spicy. I like to add jalapeno peppers to everything!
My least fav food is prob English (!) and Chinese. I was going to say I am not really a meat and two veg sort of person but thought that would give you lot the wrong idea, so I will say I am not really a Sunday dinner sort of person. I find English food a bit bland. Also hate making those sorts of dinners. Have just about recovered from the trauma of New Years Dinner!
Unfortunately I can no longer stuff myself as I have a lot of stomach probs after having had food poisoning about 10 years ago. I wont bore you with the details but I have to be really careful what and how much I eat, which is a pity cos I used to be a right old dustbin who would eat anything!
I actually love cooking. Probably one of my favourite hobbies after books. My fav recipe at the mo is Mexican wedding cookies, they are little shortcake biscuits made with pecan nuts yummy!

Will be glad when I have managed to eat my way thru all the crisps, biscuits and chocs left over from xmas, then there out of temptations way

Think I just had salmonella but it did make my stomach sensitive to food. Drs said the occaisional person will not recover completely from food poisoning always have health probs and thats me Dont get nightmares off food except if I eat an apple late at night. Oh forgot to mention I also love home made pickled onions. I made a few jars for xmas. They are so strong its like having a shot of vodka! Only trouble is a right pain to make. You have to spend ages peeling the onions with tears streaming down your face off them. Then have to soak them in salty water for 2 days. The house pongs after!

Dont get nightmares off food except if I eat an apple late at night. Is that a leg pull Claire? Only it made me wonder - 'cos I get terrible nightmares esp when I am stressed, but nearly always take an apple to bed!! What's the connection? I know with cheese it is a chemical one - but apples??? I'm with Haffyfan on cooking - I don't do it! I only use the microwave - BUT have to agree with Seahorse too, as I have had 2 microwaves catch fire - and boy do they blaze up!! Now I never leave the room with it going - if my dog hadn't told me the first time it happened - I hate to think how bad it could have got, he brought me in from the garden to find flames leaping two feet in the air, and I had to throw it out of the back door!! Fav food - Pavlovas!! As a veggie I give myself permission to indulge my sweet tooth - probably a bad idea as I don't have a dentist!

We have mentioned fav foods but what about drinks? My fav of all time is scrumpy, the proper stuff that you get in somerset, all cloudy and mega strong. Also love margaritas. My fav wine is chianti, followed by chardonnay. I also like vodka and orange juice, kahlua, cointreau...oh better stop before I sound like a right plonky. TBH the only drinks I really dont like are sherry and baileys. Missing my drink at the mo with these antibiotics
