Your poor old mod is extremely battered and bruised today after somehow managing to fall down the stairs last night! My mum just rang me up and when I told her about it her first words were: WERE YOU DRUNK? !!! Well, I have a feeling she'll not be the only one to ask that question so I'll get in my answer first. For the record I WAS NOT DRUNK....HONEST! ;D

My stairs are a bit of a death trap. The carpet is ancient and very slippy and I have slipped a few times but grabbed the banister. This time I was carrying something so I didnt have any free hands to grab! Methinks its time to get a new carpet. I have bruises and carpet burns all over and I have jarred my back and neck. But the worst of it is the most badly bruised bit of me is my backside which makes it very painful to sit down! Oh well an excuse to lie about and read more books.....

I fell over today - but I stepped onto my mum's rug, which slipped (on the laminate floor), which in turn made me slip. So now I am bruised and hurting tons. So you have my sympathy. (It's not usually on the laminate floor)
I have a sore bottom and it hurts to sit down, but I had an injection in my backside earlier on this week, and where I have been jabbed a lump come up!! The actual injection didnt hurt half as much as the lump. One thing I found which made it easier to sit down was actually sitting on a pillow rather than a cushion/chair!! Hope it works for you.

Poor you garej. I'll try the pillow option and see if its any better. We seem to be abounding in sore bottoms round here...its like something out of a carry on film! ;D

Not actually sitting on the floor - now that would be painful.
