My cat Rosie has disgraced herself by weeing on a book I had just sold on ebay, causing me no end of embarassment as I had to explain this to my potential buyer! She is in the dog house now! ;D Was wondering if anyone else animals are as badly behaved and if they have done anything really naughty or embarassed you in some way. Please reassure me that my pets are not the only awful ones out there!

The naughtiest thing that Pickle does is eat Tigger's food!! He has kidney problems and is on a special diet, but I have caught him eating hers!! He does bite though without warning but fortunately due to lack of teeth (he does have some, but he has also lost tons) he doesnt hurt.
I am sure that there is more though.

Naughty Rosie! Years ago when I was still at school one of my hamsters got out of it's cage and chewed up my homework....the teacher did not believe my story and I got detention Another time my dog peed on my new boyfriend's leg! It didn't put him off as he is now my OH! ;D We only have one hamster now and he is very well-behaved.

He he - but aren't they cute when they are being naughty!
Years ago my cat ate my caramac easter egg - he found where my mum had hidden it ready for Easter day.
One of my cats in Italy was very cheeky - one of his favourite tricks was to jump from the top of the wardrobe to the bed via the clothes horse drier - invaribly sending it and the washing flying. You could practically see him smiling!

Crikey sarah your cat ate a whole easter egg! Mmm havent had a caramac for years... Cats seem to be more deliberately naughty than dogs - but maybe I am biased cos I have had lots of naughty cats over the years.

Well - half of it - might as well been all of it as it was covered in cat slobber - which made it distinctly unappealing!

Smudge runs away! I don't know how he gets out, i've blocked up every hole I can find in the hedge, but when I see him slinking off round the side of the house, nothing can stop him! He goes through the hedge to next door (which has nobody living there) thought their back hedge into the horses field, and often into the field beyond with the sheep in it. I don't even bother searching for him now, I just wait 10 mins or so and sure enough once he's tired himself out he comes slinking back to the fence dividing our garden from the horse field, so I have to grab any part of him I can reach, haul him over the fence and off he runs with his tail between his legs to hide in his kennel! Clearly the shame is worth it as he's done it 3 times in the last 2 days... grrr!

Haha mysteryarab - what was I saying about cats being naughtier than dogs.....? ;D At least dogs have the decency to be guilty about their crimes, cats on the other hand seem to revel in them! ;D

My 11 yr old great dane, staghound, mastiff, rigeback X has been getting a bit stiff and today I noticed she was limping keeping her weight off her near hind. So off to the vet thinking age related arthritis or hip dyspasia, and it turns out she has bug*ered her anterior cruciate ligament! I mean, that's what athletes do from training too hard isn't it? Her main form of exercise is barking and eating!!!

My daughter's dog Bruno eats my books. Not her (to me silly) twilight books but my precious pony books. And this morning I had left a copy of H>G> Wells The Invisible Man on the bed while I showered . It was a blue leather Collions Classic edition, so one of my extra special books and he ate the corner. What's worse is he gives you that "Me? What did I do? You left it where I could reach it" look.

My cats chew on the spines of books so I never keep favourites anywhere at Cat Level.

Oh dear Vera, that's a shame!
My cat (when not weeing on them) will sometimes roll on and dribble on old books. She loves smelly things, altho her all time favs are my walking boots esp if I have trodden in any cow/horse/sheep muck. Charming creatures aren't they?

My dog sniffs my bum when I've been riding....actually she just sniffs everyone's bums when they come in the house, including the cats'.

My friends dog humps the stable cat at RDA. The cat purrs like mad ;D I had a male rabbit that used to hump the cushions on the sofa.

Very sad news- we expected to pick our dog, Holly, up from the vet last night after surgery on her knee but x rays showed she had aggressive bone cancer and tumours and fluid in her lungs. The kids are gutted of course as we couldn't let her go on so she was put to sleep. One week ago she had a slight limp and now she's dead. can't believe it.
