Only on the TV if I can find it - I love the atmosphere even on the screen, used to watch hours of show jumping on the TV when I was little - who decided it wasn't watchable enough and added all the other daft bits they have nowadays? Much as I am a dog lover (who actually does agility too), I'd rather see the horse showing classes, even just the championships perhaps at events like HOTYS, instead of endless manic jumping collies! Have fun seahorse, I'll be jealous!

For those of us with no freeview or sky theres a small offering on BBC. (see above) Unfortunately presented by Clare Balding who for some reason really irritates me - had to stop watching the racing on BBC cos of her! Maybe I can download it from somewhere...
I remember years ago when there was loads of it on telly (and the horse of the year show too) but that was when there were only 3 TV stations!

Thanks Claire...I can watch the big wall at least then....we can't get a digitial signal either....the downside of living out in the 'pretend' sticks!!!!
Claire Balding gets me too....I just pity the poor racehorses she use to ride (Miaaaaaoooow!!!!)

Have a lovely time seahorse...Am envious...I went two years ago to watch the M & M 's .. Supporting the Exmoors of course....Fantastic day out.. Friends I went with aren't going this year but I don't have any dog sitter's either..;-( I used to attend regularly and was there when Nick Skelton topped the record in the puissance...It was so hair raising Everyone raised the roof..Highly recommend it as a christmas show..Shopping is fab too.!!

Glad you enjoyed it seahorse (how could you not?) Must go there myself one day but its a long long way from where I live 'up north' Looking forward to watching the puissance, tho will have to tape as going out with my old girly pals from where I used to work (when I used to have a 'proper job' as one of my friends says!) The puissance is just amazing. I think the biggest thing I ever jumped was a 4ftish gate when I was being run away with by an ex-racehorse. That seemed enormous! Just can't imagine jumping as high as they do Happy viewing all!

Thanks for the schedule Claire. Did you see the Cossack horses in real life Seahorse? What amazed me was that they were not heavy horses like the rosinbacks used in a similar way, on TV they almost looked Arab build (Akel Teke type?) yet they had pret ty hefty looking types hanging off them at all angles and didn't even lean, -let alone stagger -either they were very well balanced horses or sturdier than they appeared on the screen! Funny you should say that about Claire B - if you get annoyed by her when she is talking about horses, about which one imagines she IS knowledgeable, you are free to imagine how I feel when she tries to pontificate about dogs on TV!!!

Thanks for the schedule.
Unfortunately, although I do have freeview, it doesnt pick up the BBC Channels (the aerial needs upgrading, but I dont want to pay for it!!), so it looks like the regular BBC for me.
