I just found a listing for the Saddle Club TV series on Sky.
It is on a channel called Pop Girl, which is on Sky Channel 626. It is on at 11 am and repeated at 6 pm.
Pop Girl have other horse related cartoons on there - such as Horseland though.

According to someone in the know, the new actors are around the same age as the old ones but it's meant to be 'them' a bit older. The property it was filmed on was sold last year and the horses are often advertised for sale in 'Horse Deals' (a HUGE monthly for sale mag that makes your mouth water. Also, sadly the girl who played the youngest Pine Hollow rider- not one of the main Saddle Club girls, she hung around with her young friend and got up to mischief; might have been a younger sister of somebody...died recently after falling under a train in Melbourne. She was one of the best characters, I felt, so very sad.

Actually saw this series the other day when I was visiting my sister. It had horses in it - so that was good but... The one I saw they were looking after a famous French Thoroughbred event horse - however it looked suspiciously like a Spanish Andalucian (sp) to me.
Still it was better than the couple of books I have read and a lot better than Horseland which I managed about 1 minute of.

I saw Saddle Club the other day accidently whilst looking after my baby grand-daughter. She likes Sky baby channel623 and I skipped a few channels and found it. It was more about the trials and relationships of pre teenage life than about ponies. All the children kept immaculately clean. I thought it was well worth missing unless you are aged 11-14.
