What a cutie he is!
Does he belong to someone else or have you adopted him?

Yup, I'm thinking Daren, and I see a collar on that kitty, too. Claimed!

He does belong to someone else, yeah, but I don't think they really bother about him much. He's in our house more than he is theirs!
He loves eating toast, though. LOVES it.

That reminds me of a cute little picture book that I can't remember the name of. It's something like 'The Cat of Seven Houses' where a cat pretends to be owned by seven different families so it can get fed seven different times. It all works well until he gets sick and he gets dosed at the vet seven different times!

One of my neighbours cats is like Prince - he's always trying to get in the house and spends most of his time in my garden. Poor thing is always out night and day. I can't really let him in tho as he attacked Rosie once and now she hates him. I did let him in on bonfire night as they actually left him out and poor thing was terrified. I also started leaving water out for him in the garden when I noticed he was trying to drink the little bits of water dripping from the plant pots when I watered them and was really thirsty. I guess the owners dont realise cats have to drink! BTW is Prince actually rubbing against that piece of toast?!!

No, he is trying to eat it...! Oh yes had a better look and it looks like he is gnawing on the crust! I thought he loved it so much he was giving it a chin rub hehe. Rosie likes to hoover up toast crumbs left over when I have toast or toasties but she's not bothered about actual pieces of toast strangely enough.

We have a cat like this who is quite happy to come inside the house and eat our cat's food etc, until one day, we noticed he had yet another new collar on him and a message, saying 'please do not feed this cat!'.

We have a cat that comes to my parents house. We eventually found out who he belonged to (after several months of him being in terrible condition and thin), but he still comes for food and also some 1 on 1 attention (the people who own him have so many animals that they often get no individual attention). I suspect that he still gets fed at his own house. Here he is on the bed. His proper name is Angel, but all the cats that I known called Angel are little devils (he always gets into fights with the other cats. I swear he's FIV positive), so we named him Inky until we found out his proper name. Inky has stuck.

Well, speaking of wandering cats, we have a stray tom (beefy guy, but rather the worse for the wear at the moment) who appeared two days ago. Gunky (VERY GUNKY) eyes and limping on one leg/paw. Have set the humane cage trap two days now -- and am catching our own cats, first Coquette (who is very shy and timid and would've been the last one I would've thought would venture into a trap) and today China. That leaves Duchess to go -- but she's very savvy and I don't think she'll be caught.
But regardless, hopefully our three will learn and maybe THEN I can catch could-be-gorgeous seal-colored tom and get him some vet attention. Cross your fingers and send some telepathic waves to nudge him into that trap!

Never saw the poor kitty again. Still hoping, though. Would love to get him some help.
