Hi all, finished the design on the new look website. Having trouble deciding which colour scheme to use, a dark purple/lilac to match the forum or a dark blue/pale blue scheme (in which case I may change the forum colour scheme a little) You could help me decide on voting for the colour scheme you prefer A or B. Ta x A. B.

Claire I love the purple and lilac colour best as colour, but there is something about the lilac that makes it really hard for me to read the writing against it, so I've voted for blue!

The purple is pretty but the blue would be better I think. Nice design Claire.

Bay would be fantastic! Can't get over how you came up with the exact picture that was in my mind! Well it looks like blue is the most popular. I may upload it tonight. I've only changed the colour scheme on the main part of the website, still have to expunge the pink on a lot of separate pages so it may be a while before its fully colour co-ordinated

Maybe a drawing of a pony with a computer for the contact me bit I may see how I am at drawing squirrels as well can't be that hard I can draw rabbits dogs cats and horses and ponies how hard could a squirrel be. That way your squirrel books page will match too.

That's brilliant trixiepony!
Claire the website is looking a bit peculiar from my end! It looks like the new front page is squashed in at the top.

The pic is fantastic trixiepony! Rosie what browser are you using, I've tried it out on firefox, explorer and chrome and it seems fine to me. It was updated a couple of times within a few mins so perhaps your browser is getting clogged up in its cache. Refreshing the page or pressing control and F5 may help, if not you could try closing the page down then clearing recent history (on tools on firefox). I'm going to have a look on it on my netbook and maybe on the PC in the library too. EDIT Just checked my netbook and its fine there too, so unless other folk are having probs I would guess it is just trying to load one of the older versions up from cache and getting in a mix. In case others are having the same prob I'll try deleting it completely give it a few mins before I upload it again this might solve any cache probs, but possibly not. Is anyone else having probs? Its still something of a beta version at the mo!

Quickly googled this problema and it does seem like the cache is to blame. There is actually a piece of html code to put in the website to stop it doing this but I am not sure how to do it, not being a very experienced web designer! But I'll try and work it out. Obviously all the big websites use it to stop this prob.
In the meantime if anyone has similar probs to Rosie, try refreshing the page, or pressing control and f5, and if still no luck delete recent history/clear cache if you know how to do it. If it still looks odd after doing this let me know.

Thanks trixiepony I think I'll try and see what I can do with those first, not very good at photoshopping and it takes me ages! I might see if my dad can 'cut' round the pics to make them into cliip art. I think he has a better photoshopping application than mine and he's into photography so I know he fiddles around with digital images a lot
