Ooops yes That's the one tinuviel - it was Jill's Riding Club, always get that mixed up with Rosettes!! Isn't he the boy they went to buy a pony for, and his father hid behind the hedge while he and Jill were looking at the pony because he was having a feud with the pony's owner!!

Coffee, June and Froth were from the Bobby/ Shelta books - Difficult Summer etc Measles and Bellboy - lol we are back at Fear Treks the Moor! ;D First lines 2 Is Patricia Leitch Pony of Your Own 4 I've got to get this Jill book right - is it Pony Trek?

The Barney i meant was the Dun one from Riders....didn't know their was one in follyfoot...sorry
Measles and Bellboy...well the ones I'm thinking off were not from Fear trek The moor
And finally I wasn't thinking of Circus Brumby although of course it fits...

Grace Huxtable illustrated Kingfisher Feather and Victor Ambrus Brumby Racer.

arggg too many answers...will try to update. I was stretching it a bit with the measles and Bellboy, because although Bellboy is def in it as the pony Jane buys, I don't remember a Measles! Now I can't think where they come from?

All correct again and Claire....there was a measles in Kate and the Mystery ponies Bellboy was only mentioned in passing as a showy liver chestnut but a complete slug...(two of the girls were fighting over riding him at the time)

Rufus and Taffy - one of them had to be hid and a childrens home was involved

3 Coup de Grace was the name of one of the equines. Benjamin which may be a better clue is another
5 same author who wrote about a horse named bushman
6 Be Brave will give a clue to the title of this black stallion book
7 I know exmoor fan has read this fairly recently! Features a school
8 Not from nearby they were from ......

Bushman - a Zita White book cant remember which so will guess Ride Across the Ocean (bet its the other one lol)

6. Black Stallions Courage. I actually knew this one but must have forgot to post it, maybe my fav Black Stally book.
