could 12 be The Gift Wrapped Pony by Anne Farrell? or The Christmas Horse by Glen Balch? Gift Wrapped just seems to fit "under the tree" better!

Grin...I think it's very possible that there will be multiple answers to some of the questions....
One other possible alternate....Puzzle of Ponies by Mary Gervaise for number 4, instead of Jigsaw Pony by Jessie Haas (though Jigsaw Pony is a better fit for the clue)

Hehe really getting you to use the 'leetle grey cells' today! ;D Lots of right answers, a couple of wrong ones. No. 3 seems to be getting quite a few wrong guesses! Also no. 1 is NOT shanks pony! Susan, Puzzle of Ponies is correct for no. 4 it couldnt have been Jigsaw Pony as I had jigsaw in the clue and that would have made it too easy Updated list with answers to follow on my next post:-

Arrgh....now it's getting tough!
Could 17 be The Deep Sea Horse by Primrose Cumming or The Horse from the Black Loch (The Blach Lochs one alternate title) by Patricia Leitch?
Can't believe 1 isn't Shank's Pony....the only other thing I can think of is a non-pony title by a pony author: Barefoot a Thousand Miles by Patsey Gray

Speaking of Primrose Cumming, I suppose 10 could be Penny and Pegasus by her....Pegasus was sired by Poseidon, the Greek God.

Funny, I thought someone would get no. 1 quite easily. Shank's Pony was a really good answer tho. Nope, no. 17 is not The Deep Sea Horse of the Horse From the Loch!

could 1 be something really obvious, like Afraid to Ride by Patricia Leitch or Afraid to Ride by C. W. Anderson? or something really sneaky (err...I mean clever, of course ;D ) like I'd Rather Not Gallop by Caroline Akrill, since you can ride a horse at a walk, just as well as you can walk on your own two feet!
