Thanks for the heads up Susan. I snapped them up, one for my private collection, two for the shop - there are always customers after Jills with wrappers. It came to £42 all told with Paypal's bloodthirsty exchange rate but still not bad for all three.

Thanks Susan, sadly (for me) it was gone a few hours later when I checked it out!

Sorry Claire but I snapped it up. It arrived this morning. I dont like to announce that I have bought a book until I have got it in case someone messages the seller with a higher offer and somehow it's "lost/out of stock" or magically gets lost in the post.

Congrats on getting it Garej - at least one of the ponymadbooklovers got it! Glad it arrived safely too.

Thanks Susan, it ended up a little expensive for me in the end.

Too bad The book market is not great here right now though, so another copy may well come up cheaper.

Not my favourite Punchbowl story, but my copy is a very shabby paperback, so I've picked this one up. Thanks for the tip.

Yea! I'm glad it worked out. When I bought my hc/dj copy, it was to replace a Collins Library edition....the print was sooo tiny. My eyesight was never up to much, and that's something age doesn't improve

Gettong older means my eyes have stopped getting more shortsighted. My prescription has been basically the same for the last few years. It saves money on not having to buy new glasses every couple of years.

Well done Garej! Hope you'll enjoy it. One of my favourite humurous stories.

Great, so glad it worked out garej! I read it for last year's summer challenge, and it wound up being my star book

While on the hunt for some Mabel Esther Allan books (I'm on a binge at the moment), I spotted this copy of Pam and Doctor Syntax:
Really cheap, but located in Australia. Not often that I see copies that have a dj, so thought I'd post just in case.

Jump Shy by Joan Houston, the UK edition illustrated by Sheila Rose. Not insanely cheap, but not bad either. Located in the UK
