Last week I finished writing my first "love scene"
I am very glad I took the decision to go for publication under a nom de plume.
It is, I suppose, quite mild (only slightly past the 9 o'clock watershed if it were on TV)but a bit emotionally torrid.
Unlike most stuff in books you can't really say if its realistic as people don't really talk about this sort of stuff (and if they do often don't tell the truth). You do worry you are inadvertantly giving too much away about yourself (how do authors like Jilly Cooper and Edwina Currie ever dare go down the shops?)
Views about this sort of thing? what is good, bad etc in your view? (Bearing in mind this is a website intended for family fire side reading)
