Hi all, noticed I haven't done a quiz for yonks so here is another covers quiz cos I know everyone likes them. What are the titles and authors of the following books Round 1 - both title and author blanked out. Round 2 - for those that haven't been guessed for a few days - I will reveal the author so just the title to guess. Double points to all who can guess them in round 1 lol. 1. 2. DARK FURY - JOSEPH E. CHIPPERFIELD 3. BREED OF GIANTS - JOYCE STRANGER

Well done all correct except that no. 4 is not a Jill.
Some of the books are quite well known but in lesser known editions - just cos I am nasty lol. But I will add authors soon if people get stuck.

Hi sarah! How are you keeping? And welcome back to kunuma - yep its the same old kunuma just with a 1 added. And hopefully no more log in probs
But back to the quiz. Well done all correct except the troublesome no. 11. No its not Jackie either. It is from a British pony series, though a lot shorter than Jackie and less well-known.

7. is correct haffy.
I think its the Geoffrey Whittam illustration which is making no. 11 seem familiar. Its probably not that well know a series as the author was known more for a different genre than pony books.

2 is a bit of a guess because of the black horse and the fire = Dark Fury by Joseph Chipperfield?

With a bit of help from Sarah is 11 Castle In Northumbria, I'm convinced i've got it, it's really familiar, and will probably end up checking in a bit.

Good guess Kunuma (Its nice to be able to call you that again lol) it is Dark Fury.
Also well done to sarah it is a Lorna Hill book. Good try haffy but not quite. Geoffrey Whittam did do the cover art for an edition of Castle in Northumbria and also the dubiously titled So Guy Came Too, but this isn't either of those. I must say I'd like to get my hands on a copy of the edition in question not so much for the story but I do love Whittam's covers. But I digress...!

While I'm on a roll guessing (see they are good covers when you can guess the book from them!) number 10 might be Fury and the White Mare - but I can't remember the guy's name, I want to say Albert Einstein - but erm, I know it wasn't!!

Haha laughing at Albert Einstein! I thought you would get that one kunuma - its Albert G. Miller! Correct for other 2 - wow you are all doing very well here you might not need the authors revealing after all - but if it all grinds to a halt I'll put them in
