This game is free on Android and Apple phones and allows players to care for an compete horses. Players start off with one horse, a bay called Beauty (though you can change her name, and your own, but clicking on profile). The game includes 3 mini games - grooming, mucking out and picking up from the paddock. These give you health and happiness points, which are needed when you come to compete. In order to compete you have to practice jumping and cone and barrel weavig. Unlike some PC games, such as Mary Kings Riding Star, the jumping action is basic, but gets challenging by about level 25 or so. care and competing earn money and gems, and with these you can buy more horses and also more equipmemt. More expensive horses and and equipemnt get more points in competitions. You can also visit other player's horses, make friends, ive and receieve gifts and even muck out a mate's stall!
I like that you have to play for quite a long time to get a new horse, and even by level 30 I've not yet afforded new premises. The timing in the game is quite good too - os you can't compete a tired horse, and you have to wait before repeating mini-games. You can also earn money by letting your horse give lessons, be a movie star or a number of other things. I found it very addictive for a bout a month (most of which time I was away from REAL horses with a broken shoulder), but once you have unlocked all the mini games, etc, and bought the most expensive things it feels a bit pointless. That said lots of people seem to play on for 100s of levels!
