Sorry rosie it doesn't let you modify the poll once you've done it - as I've found out to my cost even the admin can't! A really stupid oversight on proboard's part. The only way to change it is to copy your post, delete the whole thread and then start again. I was going to reply to this but I'll leave it til I see if you want to delete or not.

Well how ridiculous this is! I can't delete the poll either! Are you able to? Proboards ought to sort that one out. I have posted it again

Rosie I think you have just deleted the opening post rather than the whole thread. Thats why the poll is still there. Plus your OP which actually reviews the book is gone! Yeah its stupid you can't modify polls lots of people complain to proboards about it. The only advice I can give people is that if they see they have made a mistake on their poll, quickly go back one page, the poll will come up again and you can change it. Seems to be a loop-hole in the programming which lets you do this. But this only works if you do it straight away. Once you navigate away from the thread or someone else posts on it you're stuck with the poll, warts n all. Anyway once you've read this I'll delete it and put this advice somewhere people can see it. In the meantime anyone who has come here the new thread for the book is here: ponybooks.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=reviews&action=display&thread=1890

Hmm maybe it only lets admin delete whole threads. (Which by the way it calls topic rather than thread just to confuse the issue even more!) I must get that test account re-done so I can have a poke around and see just what you lot can and can't do!
