I'm posting this here because I know for a fact that nobody I know from my part of the horsey world frequents this board.
I'm generally fed up with things at present.
Mouse's owner decided to move him, at short notice, to a yard that I'm fairly familiar with. And already I bloody hate it.
The whole moving thing really annoyed me, partly because I was used to the yard we were at, but mostly because the move was so sudden and not planned.
The first day he was there, the owner was arsing around, trying to get Mouse to trot over some poles, and the little girl riding Mouse fell off. She wasn't badly hurt, but because I knew what was going to happen I got angry - like really, apocalyptically angry - and stormed off the yard.
Yesterday, I was told that someone else wanted to share Mouse. So, we set about arranging days etc. I knew she had ridden him during the day, as there were marks where his saddle and girth had been. So I said so long as you clean him off if he's sweaty, then that's OK. So she starts giving me dog's abuse, saying that she DID clean him after she rode him and calling me all the names under the sun, even though she's only known me two minutes.
Finally, we get a rota sorted out, but I just know that it's not going to be nice and friendly like it was at the last yard. OK, so the YO had a habit of moving the horses around willy-nilly, but apart from that the yard was absolutely fine. Not to mention that I'm now kind of worried for my own skin since Sharer B's father knows I called her a few choice words in return.
In short, I can't see me keeping up with Mouse much more. I've got a free loan of a horse, but what's the point if I'm not enjoying it??
Congratulations if you managed to get this far in the moaning....!
