Ohh I thought Gerard Butler might have been doing one of the voices, being Scottish, but sadly not. Wouldn't mind meeting him! Julie Walters, Billy Connolly and Robbie Coltrane are all in it - I like all of them.
Where's it premiering - Edinburgh?

Yeah, at the Edinburgh Film Festival. Of course, the real reason I'm going is for the CGI Clydesdale!

I'd love one of those, I'm a sucker for soft toys - still have my horse on wheels I had when I was two years old - perhaps that is what started it all!

The trouble is they take up so much room. In a moment of madness a few years back I bought one of those huge dog-sized stuffed tigers, which was OK at the time cos i was living in a 4 bedroomed house. But the damn thing has followed me thru umpteen house moves into much smaller places and its hard to find anywhere to put it. Do you fancy adopting it daren? ;D

Well, I'm just back from seeing BRAVE, and I can safely say that's my new favourite Pixar movie! Nothing to do with a ruddy great hairy horse, mind, but it was really rather awesome! Hmm, I've always wanted one of those massive great tigers.... :/

Hmm, I've always wanted one of those massive great tigers.... :/ Well if you're ever in Yorkshire you can come and pick him up He is a very nice toy its just I have gone down from a 4 to a 3 and now a 2 bedroom house so i am running out of space. I used to keep him the hallway in one of my houses and people didnt half get a shock when they first came in and saw him ;D Glad you enjoyed the movie. Did you do any celeb spotting? Looking forward to seeing it myself. EDIT - just found a picture of the tiger with Rosie 'on board'

getting ready to take Zane (5 year old grandson) to see this. Speaking of soft toys, my son won a dog sized tiger at the regatta many years ago. Stephen does not live at home anymore but the tiger does. Also we bought a life sized stuffed gorilla just before Rowena was born (Koko, proceeds went to protecting gorilla environment and long story why). anyway Big Fred has been the source of comfort for assorted children, dogs and cats for many years. Whenever one of the children was really sad, they would go and sit on Big Fred's ample lap. The cats used to sleep on his head, the dogs between his legs. Zane is the first one who has used him as a trampoline, a launching pad. a landing pad and a pretend horse, so the first who has really played with him. We began in a big house and now are in a smallish house but wherever we go, Big Fred follows and room is found for him somehow! The deal I made with my children was that the first one to produce a grandchild would get Big Fred and they seem ok with that .

They came up on the stage before the film started: Kelly McDonald (who voices the main character), Robbie Coltrane, Craig Ferguson, and Kevin McKidd (who was in one of my favourite horror movies of all time!). Got a photo but not had a chance to upload it yet.
