I'm ususally a fan of Pony Point of View books but I have to admit this one left me cold. It seems like the writer didn't know very much about Exmoor ponies as Misty is described as being a grey but she was a young writer so maybe that's why. The ponies in the illustrations don't look anything like Exmoor ponies either which is a shame.
It follows the usual pattern of lovely first home then sold onto a circus then sold again to a bad home pulling a bakers cart and then finally is reunited with first owner.
And that's about it!
I've given it 2 stars.

I have this on my to read pile, not sure if it won't be shoved further to the back now. Its not my favourite sub-genre at the best of times! I thought the grey thing was odd too just from the title.

I read this one recently and on the positive side I did finish it but in my reading database I see I recorded it as 'dire'.
