Hi all, just to let you know have added a new short stories section to the website. The short stories home page lists the authors on the website who have written short stories or short story collections. There is also a link to an in-depth overview of some of the most popular British short story collections (American to follow). From that page you can see exactly what is in each book, which ones are made up of mainly excerpts, which ones have mainly stories, what sort of stories there are, etc. I thought this might be useful as when you buy the books on ebay or other internet sites they dont normally tell you what is inside the book. Also you may already have the stories for a particular book in another collection already. Or maybe you are searching for a particular story and want to know where to find it. Anyway hope this is useful to someone. Whenever I get a new book of short stories will add it to the page. Also thanks to tinuveil who sent me a copy of Pony Parade to help with the research You can find the new section here: Short Stories Section

I'll take a look at he American one. See what I got stashed away.... Needs to dry up outside more. Still way towet to drag boxes out. I have some of them. Read some of the others...... Gentle Like A Cyclone is in my take to Used Bookstore pile... I'll get you a list of stories before it goes back. The one with the Sam Savitt drawing is out in a box somewhere. I'll get a list and short summary for you on them. The others, I've read or I would love to find.......

Sarah, is that Daily Mirror book a large annual type? I've just found the Second Daily Mirror one which is like that, so I assume they are a pair.
