Well done. Toad and Shanti are there too. In my defence the saloon appeared as part of looney, we use the word bar here not saloon. I must confess tho that barf was intentional ;D There's another couple of words in there that sum me up that I am surprised know one has seen yet ;D

LOL...I wouldn't have seen "saloon" if I hadn't first spotted Gin (which is a pony name, or part of one....I think we've seen two or three strawberry roans named Pink Gin). We say bar here too....I think the only time I've heard "saloon" is in a Western movie!
Movin' on......two in from the I in Rosina Copper, Orbit (backwards)

To recap: Found so far: To recap, horses found so far: ADONIS BEN BENEDICTINE BLACK BEAUTY BLAZE CAVALIER DAYBREAK DRAGON FLICKA FOLLY MIG O THE MOOR MISTY MOKET ORBIT PHANTOM PILOT PUNCHINELLO RAPIDE ROSINA COPPER SHANTIH SMOKY THOWRA TOAD Sorry Rosie, just uploaded it so didnt have time to add Misty, but its correct. Quiver was not intentional, it must have appeared by accident! But you can still have a point for it garej

Another one: Tiddlywinks.
Also, Spot (I know this one is not intentional!) is a pony in a book: the Georgia series by Mary Gervaise.

Well done garej, Tiddlywinks is a hard one! (For anyone who can't find it starts 4 down 5 across and goes diagonally to the right). Its weird how so many words appeared accidentally, especially even pony names!
Let me know folks it you would like any clues for the last few.

Yes, Sonnet is correct. I think there are 5 left to get.

I cant find any more at the moment Claire, but I would like to say how much I enjoyed this wordsearch and I hope you do more in the future!

Thanks Garej glad you enjoyed it, I may do a titles or human character one soon. BTW susan crab is correct.
Some clues for the remaining 4:
1 is diagonal, the others are downwards
2 are Australian, 1 is American, 1 is British
One of the Aussie horses is in a book by a very famous Australian author, the other one lives on a farm. The British horse is in a book by one of the PTs; the American horse sounds like it should be from a different country. Hope these clues help!

I can see a Bruno (backwards diagonal, from the end of the Punchinello).

I'm seeing stars now after staring at this, and I can only find the word Irish!!

I found Crusoe, it's downwards. It begins at the first letter of Cavalier.

I'd seen Bruno earlier, also Malay, Vern, Rock, Filo, etc, but didn't realize it was a pony name! (what kind of sadist names a pony Bruno? ;D)
Irish is a little weird too, but definitely a pony that I recognize...it's the American one from Selma Hudnut's A Horse of Her Own and Irish Hurdles.

Irish is actually one of the ones I was looking for, and also Crusoe is correct too. But not Bruno!
Last two can be found in the top half of the puzzle, they are both aussie ones.

Thanks for the clues, Claire.....sooo needed!
Down three from about the middle of the top line (the vertical line that starts with V) Tam, from Tam the Untamed
Thanks so much for doing this quiz....I can't even imagine how much time it must have taken to work out! As ever, in awe of the quiz creativity.

Susan, forgot to say the horse I was actually looking for was Tambo from the Silver Brumby series, but Tam fits in too, should have realised it! So I will give you the point.
As for the last one here are the clues:
Near the top of the grid, diagonally, 4 letter word (no not that sort!)
Australian book by a lesser known writer, first in a series of books set on a farm. The pony has an unusual name which is also a type of flower (for the botanically minded amongst you!)
Hope this helps. If not I will put you out of your misery later! ;D
