Hi Claire hope its ok to add this, Just wondered if anyone has any ideas on helping a cribber my five year Section C had a tough start in life including being shut in a barn as youngester, hence he now cribs but only round food. Has anyone ever tried any supplement or toys, I am not very keen on the collars as worry it would make him feel more stressed. All ideas appriecated. Many thanks

Sorry seahorse, I have been racking my brains, but can only remember one friend whose horse was OK, as long as he was eating, she literally had to feed him non stop when he was stabled, she used to use good quality straw so he was always munching. He was OK in the field. One of my youngsters started head shaking, which verged on weaving when she was in a livery yard where they didn't feed all the horses at the same time, (very bad idea) so some of the horses had to watch others being fed and it caused all sorts of problems. She only did it after if she was in a similiar sort of situation! Good luck with finding a solution - I know most people have to resort to plastering everything with creosote or Bitter Apple.
