11 is C (Skye)....grin...the only island close enough to the mainland to get there by bridge rather than ferry (I know, 'cause I've been over it).
Fun idea for a quiz, but OUCH! I'm not even that good at American geography!

Is number 8 The Nipper E.?
Post by Claire on Jun 24, 2010 21:23:57 GMT 1
Correct you two, the Riddle of the Tired Pony is in 'O' Cornwall and The Nipper takes place in 'E' North East England. The Cave in the Cliff isn't a traditional pony book like a lot of her books are, it's mainly an adventure/mystery, there are less horsy bits and the pony pulls a trap which the children travel around in. However the pony is not a peripheral character in the book so I think of it as a pony book. If you all get stuck on where it's set I will give the name of the pony which will be a clue To give you a hand here are the areas which correspond to the letters left to match to the books: NORTHERN IRELAND DUBLIN FRANCE CUMBRIA DORSET DARTMOOR
