The missing words from these book titles all appear in well known Christmas Carols. Can you name the missing words and also (if you're very clever!) the carols they come from?
More than one word may appear from some of the carols.
One answer at a time as per usual folks - hope you enjoy the quiz.

Are we allowed to use the same carol twice? (Told you I didn't know very many)If so I could use Once in Royal David's City for number 6 as well (Royal)

Well I know there is a book called Exmoor Lass, but I have a feeling there isn't a carol about Exmoor! Yep officially out of ideas!
"As shepherds watched their flocks by night, all seated up on Exmoor" No? OK well I tried.

Well done Susan, a bit cheeky of me to add that one as it's not a pony book as such but Ruth Hollis does make an appearance! Good going everyone - quiz completed
