Can you work out the names of these fictional horses and ponies from the picture clues and for a bonus point what book they are in? Some of the clues are straight forward, some may be quite cryptic or even a little cheeky! 1. BANJO - WOODBURY SERIES BY JPT 2. HAMISH - HAMISH BY JOANNA CANNAN 3. SUNSET - SIX PONIES BY JPT 4. JUMPER - JUMPER BY NICHOLAS KALISHNAKOFF 5. MERLIN - THE TEN POUND PONY BY VERONICA WESTLAKE 6. KNOCKER - NOBODY'S HORSE BY JOANNE WEBSTER 7. TOAD - FLY-BY-NIGHT & THE TEAM BY KMP 8. PINCUSHION - RACE HORSE HOLIDAY BY JPT 9. OLYMPIC - HORSEPOWER BY PATSEY GRAY 10. HOPSCOTCH - THE PONY PROBLEM BY BARBARA HOLLAND 11. BEL BEL - THE SILVER BRUMBY BY ELYNE MITCHELL 12. CASPAR - SADDLE ISLAND SERIES BY SHARON SIAMON 13. MISTY - MISTY OF CHINCOTEAGUE BY MARGUERITE HENRY 14. GEORGE - JILL SERIES 15. CAVALIER - A PONY FOR JEAN BY JOANNA CANNAN

OH, there's a Caspar in the Saddle Island trilogy by Sharon Siamon -- can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. Was waiting to try to remember which book and I should've already known.

Its not Merlin from Jump Shy. To be fair its not an easy one to get as Merlin only appears in the last page of this particular book!
Shall I do clues for the last few?

Sorry Rally its not that either - but full marks for perseverance!
Here are some clues:
4. The name of the garment is the name of the horse - from a European pony book
11. A very sneaky one - think cryptically! The answer is a mare from a famous Aussie book
14. A king, but which one - his name is the name of a pony from a very famous British series.
Pony names without titles:
Pincushion - from a later PT book which dealt with a different equestrian disclipline to the others
Merlin - the book has an amount of money (British) in the title
Hope these help!
